// Who We Are
Echo & Orbit didn't start as a business idea. It started as a problem worth solving — and a set of tools built to solve it.
Echo & Orbit started with a specific frustration: Tennessee advocates working on early childhood policy had no real digital tools to do their jobs. Tracking legislation, understanding where candidates stood, connecting communities to the process — it was all manual, scattered, and exhausting.
So I built something. A few personal projects to help advocates better track early childhood legislation in Tennessee. Nothing fancy at first — just tools that made real work easier. But the more those tools took shape, the more a bigger pattern became clear.
This wasn't a niche problem. Campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations across the state — and across the country — were dealing with the same gap. The infrastructure to do meaningful digital work existed. But it was expensive, inaccessible, and built for the elite. The organizations that needed it most were exactly the ones who couldn't afford it.
That's the gap Echo & Orbit was built to close. Not just for early childhood advocates, but for any mission-driven organization that deserves the same digital firepower as the institutions they're trying to hold accountable.

Echo & Orbit is a Knoxville, Tennessee company — and that's not incidental. The problems we're solving started here. The communities we care most about are here. And the standard we hold ourselves to is shaped by what it means to build something that actually serves the place you call home.
We don't treat Tennessee as a market. We treat it as a responsibility. The advocates, campaigns, and organizations doing meaningful work in this state deserve tools that reflect the seriousness of that work — and we're here to build them.
We grow only as our community grows. That's not a tagline. It's the operating principle behind every decision we make about which projects to take on and how we price them.
